F.O.S. CHARTER

Friends of the Shelter Inc. is a group of dedicated volunteers committed to the re-homing of lost and unwanted pets from the Wingecarribee Shire (Southern Highlands) NSW and working towards minimal euthanasia. FOS is incorporated (9879349) and a registered charity (CFN17758). All monies raised goes towards the improvement of the animals welfare prior to re-homing (e.g. rescued dogs at Kelston 'Safe Haven') and to help those in the community who require financial assistance in adopting an animal from Kelston 'Safe Haven'.

It is the policy of F.O.S. Inc. to promote responsible pet ownership by re-homing animals that have been desexed, had their first vaccinations (incl. C5), worm & flea treated, health checked, microchipped and lifetime registered in NSW. Any re-homing costs/donations go towards these expenses and to help feed animals while in the care of F.O.S. at Kelston 'Safe Haven' or in foster with carers.
