The Wingecarribee Shire has seen massive population growth during the period when our current shelter was initially relocated to The Resource Centre until the present time. As a consequence, animal numbers have risen considerably, and thus the pressure to deal with all lost, abandoned or surrendered animals in our Shire.

In order to maintain a Minimal Euthanasia Policy, F.O.S. Inc. set about finding a panacea to this problem and THE KELSTON 'SAFE HAVEN' was created to fullfill this part of FOS Inc. charter.

An area to house the lucky chosen residents (12 initially) was found - runs & kennels are currently being modified & built! It will be first class all the way!

"The F.O.S. Dogs that are in the 'SAFE HAVEN' will be treated no differently to any other canine at Kelston Kennels. They will receive food of the highest quality, daily exercise, veterinarian assistance where required, and equal share of T.L.C. our staff can provide.

** The 'SAFE HAVEN' is strictly Non-Euthanasia and, as a consequence, we must continually be rehoming the F.O.S. residents, thus creating space for newcomers.
** Dogs at 'SAFE HAVEN' will be the responsibility of F.O.S. Inc. and of course will be for sale. All inclusive costs of $265 (M) $285 (F) - desexed, microchipped, lifetime rego, first and C5 vaccinations, receiving daily training, a one month's trial available with two weeks tucker and $40 gift voucher once trial period completed.
